Your own private resort.
For the day.
Three pools, open lawns, sport courts and a chef in the kitchen — reserved for you and up to 100 guests. Minutes from Howell, Manalapan and Jackson, and nothing like a banquet hall.
Peak Saturdays book first — most summer dates fill by early spring. Members and non-members welcome.

A banquet hall rents you a room. We hand you the whole club.
Every other venue in Monmouth County is selling four walls and a buffet line. What Howell Pointe has that they do not is land — water, lawn, courts and open air — and for the window you book, none of it is shared with anybody else.
- Guests spread out. They move between the water, the lawn and the deck instead of sitting at one table for three hours.
- Every age has somewhere to be. Shade and seating for the grandparents, pools and courts for everybody under twelve.
- The photos look like a holiday. Not like a function room.
What are you celebrating?
Each of these has its own page, because a bridal shower and a company picnic are not the same conversation.
Is your date open?
It takes us about a minute to find out, and it costs nothing to ask. Most venue shoppers contact three or four places on the same afternoon — the one that answers first usually gets the booking. We try to be that one.
What you are actually renting.
May – September the whole property is yours, pools included. October – April events move into the indoor room, with heated tented space outside on request.
Three Pools
A lap pool, a slide pool, and a kiddie pool. Three bodies of water means the adults, the teenagers, and the toddlers all get their own, instead of negotiating over one.
The Open Lawn
Room for tents, games, dessert tables, a dance floor, or a hundred people standing around with drinks. The part of the property that turns a pool into a venue.
Sport Courts
Basketball and handball courts on site — the difference between a party kids leave early and one they have to be dragged out of.
The Indoor Room
A finished event room with its own bar, wood floors and doors straight out onto the deck. It is what makes a wet Saturday a non-event, and it is why the club books through the winter as well as the summer.
Café & Kitchen
A working kitchen with our own chef in it. Your menu is cooked here and served here, not driven in and reheated.
Good parties need great food.
Most venues rent you a room and hand you a list of outside caterers. Our kitchen is on site, which means the food comes out hot, the menu gets built around your event instead of picked off a laminated sheet, and there is one person to call if something changes.
Five steps, and the first takes thirty seconds.
Check your date
Send the date, a rough headcount, and the kind of event. Takes thirty seconds and costs nothing.
We answer within one business day
You find out whether the date is open before you spend another weekend touring venues that are already booked.
Walk the property
Come see it. Standing on the deck tells you more in five minutes than any gallery will.
Menu and quote in writing
Our chef builds the menu with you. You get one number covering space, food, staff, setup, and breakdown.
Hold the date
Sign, deposit, done. From there we handle the day and you handle the guest list.
Everything people ask before they call.
No. Private events at Howell Pointe are open to members and non-members alike.
Up to 100 for a private event.
Private use of the club for your window, seating, your menu cooked by our on-site chef, and setup and breakdown by our staff. What that covers depends on the date: May to September it is the whole property including the pools, lawn and courts; October to April it is the indoor event room with heated tented space available outside. Everything is confirmed in writing in your quote.
Yes — the club takes private events all year, in two different shapes. May to September you get the whole property: three pools, the lawn, the courts and the indoor room. October to April the pools are closed for the winter and events move into the indoor event room, with heated tented space on the deck if you want the outdoors as well. Peak summer Saturdays are the first dates to go each year and most fill by early spring.
Yes — DJs, photographers, florists, and bakers are welcome. Tell us who you are bringing when you inquire so we can coordinate access and setup time.
You move inside. The indoor event room seats your party with its own bar and doors onto the deck, so a wet forecast changes the room rather than the date. We confirm the weather plan in writing with your quote, and you will see both options on your tour.
We are at 22 Howell Road, Freehold NJ 07728, with on-site parking for your guests. One thing worth telling your guests: the club sits in Howell Township but carries a Freehold mailing address, so use the full address above in your GPS rather than searching by town.
Send your date, headcount, and the kind of event through the form on this page, or call (732) 414-2172. You get a real quote back, not a starting-at number.
